Nice Controller for the money. Maintains temps within 20 degrees. Did an 8 hour smoke and everything worked great. Recommend going with this controller over OEM. Same quality for a lot less.

I have an older Traeger (pre p-setting). The temperature readout was always 40-50 degrees below actual and I couldn't control the temp without a lot of fluctuation. This controller solved all that plus the addition of the two probes lets me monitor internal temps without having to open the lid and cause the resultant heat drop. Installation was easy, just plug and play. Anyone can do it in a half-hour or less.

Installed in Traeger Pro Series 22. Item was easy to install.The temperature sensing rod has only a single hole bracket, the Traeger rod had a two hole bracket. The operations seem to work OK but the Smoke setting is too hot. It runs around 175-185 Deg F. This should be 110 to 120 Deg F in my opinion and there is no way to adjust it, or at least no instructions on how to. The item came with a schematic to install wiring and was accurate. They do not ship an tie wraps to clean up the wiring harness. Traeger had installed 7 tie wraps in factory that I cut off. Probe works but you have to hit the button to see what the temp is. My suggestion would be to have the display cycle through the set point, then the probe # then the probe temperature. That way you don't have to physically touch the unit to see the temp of the food.
